For a decade, I served as the managing editor for the New Madrid literary journal, which suspended publication in summer 2018 due to a loss of institutional funding.
My career in media spans two decades: print journalism, radio and television, motion pictures, commercial and literary publishing, book and magazine publishing, theatrical production, and web publishing and design. During my film-production days, I fulfilled a lifelong goal of working on a movie based on a book by Richard Matheson: Stir of Echoes.
Now, in the age of the pandemic, I am a doctoral student in American Studies at Penn State Harrisburg, with concentrations in folklore and public policy.
I live in my home state of Pennsylvania with my husband, a college professor.
